    Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have witnessed our clients and prospects businesses change dramatically as each seeks a new normal by which to operate their environments safely, sanely, and securely through an appropriate mixture of remote and in office employee support. We have further witnessed the struggle many have today in finding the right people with the right expertise at the right time to ensure smooth, incident free connections to their customers and suppliers.

     

    From these observations, we have determined now is the right time to expand our Blink IT Care business, a business founded upon well-defined ITIL processes supported by best of breed industry tools. Every day we deliver our current client base a level of infrastructure stability and performance second to none. We have a strong story to tell and we are now ready to expand our team to tell that story.

    In this role, the Prospecting and Lead Generation Manager will report to the Director of Sales and Customer Success and be responsible for generating revenue by developing leads for the Account Executive Team. This is a new team and the initial Prospecting and Lead Generation Manager will build a consistent lead generation framework by employing traditional lead generation processes such as cold calling, social media via marketing messages aimed at companies representing our target client profile, hosted events to bring prospects together to discuss how their needs have changed and evolved over time, and other direct marketing methods we have tested to date which show promise. The ideal candidate will have worked in a lead generation environment and can demonstrate a track record of success. The candidate will also be able to demonstrate creativity in how they believe we should structure the team and its activities to achieve maximum results. The candidate will be resourceful enough to set-up processes and working methods, strategic enough to provide thought leadership and execution oriented enough to build a robust pipeline. And the candidate will have the full support of our executive management and sales management individuals to get the job done.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and qualify lead opportunities, resulting in high-quality lead generation across a wide spectrum of available channels from traditional cold calling through marketing driven messaging to target clients using social media platforms and other creative methods to get our message out.
    • Work closely with our Director of Sales and Marketing and executive leadership to ensure quality of pipeline and success of campaigns; Providing feedback and recommendations on marketing efforts from real world interactions with prospects and customers is vital to our mutual success.     • Work with the sales team to successfully transition over leads
    • Refine the sales pitch by creating, employing, and evaluating multiple compelling reasons for a prospect to meet with us and analyzing the by message results to continuously fine tune the messages that work.
    • Demonstrate success and determine when and how your organization grows.
    • Create best practices for outbound prospecting including how to source, qualify and transition opportunities as quickly, efficiently, and independently as possible
    • Deliver accurate metrics to ensure success against plans and targets; Collaborate cross functionally to establish reports and dashboards to provide visibility into lead generation activities; Work closely with marketing to define campaign follow up and reporting
    • Document policies and procedures based on expertise in specific job areas; work with team to document best practices and workflow, including updating of internal work instructions
    • Maintain effective time management to maximize prospecting time, including pre-call planning, conducting research to understand the prospects business to ensure the message is tailored and targeted, and customizing scripts to market segments and prospect type based upon real world, recognized needs.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • At least 2 years experience on a professional B2B inside-sales, lead generation, prospecting team or business development team with a fast-growing organization

    • Here is where most organizations would insert “bachelor’s degree is requested” – we are a results-oriented organization, we don’t give a damn where you went to school or what you achieved there. We want to understand your real-world experience and achievements.

    • Proven experience prospecting via cold calling, email, social selling and building a successful sales funnel with high conversion rates

    • Consistent track record of 100%+ of quota achievement as an individual contributor

    • Experience of campaign execution at multiple levels

    • Superior time management and very organized with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; a strong phone/video presence is required

    • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management

    • A general understanding of the IT industry is desired; for the right individual, we can teach you all you need to know.

    • Ability to identify and create new key relationships by your actions and activities. At Blink, we care deeply, you need to as well.

    • Ability and experience to contribute thought leadership and best practices to our executive and sales management team – you need to be ready to go when we say, “run with it.”
