Job Description

Bliss Lawyers is seeking an Associate General Counsel to work in the San Antonio office of one of the largest financial services companies in Texas. The Associate General Counsel will be on the leadership team and manage a team of four in a rapidly growing company.

Qualified candidates will have at least 10 years of experience as a transactional attorney at a major law firm or an in-house legal department; experience working with banks or financial institutions; a firm understanding of U.S. and Texas banking laws and regulations; and substantial experience with consumer and commercial lending transactions and a variety of vendor contracts.

Experience working with the Texas Department of Banking, Federal Reserve, OCC, and/or FDIC is preferred, as is experience working with risk management and compliance functions. Admission to the Texas Bar is required.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week) permanent position within the company. Interviews will begin as soon as qualified candidates are identified.
