HVAC Engineer/Estimator

· Verbal and written communication skills and clarity of communication, both during the estimation process and during the bid closing process.

· Efficient communication with and utilization of the Estimation Team.

· Grasp of HVAC technicalities and attention to detail.

· Accurate and Efficient estimation independent of any other team members.

· Sticking to completion schedules.

· Multi-Tasking abilities.

· Building a strong rapport with potential customers, while exhibiting and communicating proficiency in the bid proposals’ technicalities and details, resulting in successful bid securing.

· Creation of efficient workflows for the estimation process.

· Successful negotiation and convincing skills.

· Team playing and efficient communication.

· Creating realistic and efficient completion schedules and successfully sticking to them.

· Efficient communication with the General Contractors and company leadership, resulting in a smooth and streamlined workflow process.

· Utilizing the Estimation software efficiently.

· Ability to revise estimations accurately to retain potential customers and while maintaining profitable margins.

· Training estimator apprentices.

· Successful negotiation with vendors for the best prices. PROCORE experience is a PLUS Engineering background in mechanical work is a plus.
