Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Barber to join our team, providing customers with flawless hairstyles and helping them to look their best! We are looking for someone to rent a chair As a Barber, you will provide a shampoo and conditioner using basic and advanced techniques, while primarily working on male clientele. You’ll discuss the best products and hairstyles for each individual client’s needs and preferences. Barbers often also groom facial hair, using tools such as combs and straight razors to style facial hair to their client’s preferences. Many clients go to barbers for recommended cuts and styles, while others know specifically what they want. In either case, the barber is responsible for providing the appropriate level of consultation and completing the service to the client’s request. Most importantly, you will make it your goal to ensure that every customer leaves our barber shop feeling great about their hairstyle and happy with the services you provided.

Responsibilities

Evaluate customers’ face shape, hair features, and personal preferences to recommend appropriate hairstyles.

Wash hair at hair washing stations with appropriate products

Apply hair treatment products

Cut and style hair to client’s specifications

Trim and groom clients’ facial hair with combs, razors, scissors and clippers

Order barber supplies

Maintain salon sanitation and health standards, including cleaning and disinfecting workstations

Consult with clients and advise hairstyle and hair treatment options

Qualifications

Successful completion of a barbering school is required

Proven experience as a stylist, hairdresser, or similar role is preferred

In-depth knowledge of hair styling techniques and best practices

Skilled at blow drying, straightening, and curling techniques

Familiar with a variety of treatment products

Up-to-date with trends in fashion and beauty
