Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Hair Stylist with experience in makeup to join our team, providing customers with flawless hairstyles and makeup while helping them to look their best! As a Hair Stylist, you will provide shampoo and blow outs using basic and advanced techniques. As a Makeup Artist, you will assist bridal parties in making sure they're satisfied on the big day. You’ll discuss the best products and hairstyles for each individual client’s needs and preferences. Most importantly, you will make it your goal to ensure that every customer leaves our salon feeling great about their hairstyle and happy with the services you provided.

Responsibilities

Evaluate customers’ face shape, hair features, and personal preferences to recommend appropriate hairstyles and makeup

Wash hair at hairwashing stations with appropriate products

Apply hair treatment products

Execute flawless blow outs requested from signature styles

Provide customers with a wide range of hair styling options, from formal to casual

Color theory

Work with bridal makeup

Inspire clients with expertise on current beauty trends while using current makeup techniques

Qualifications

Successful completion of a cosmetology school is required

Proven experience as a stylist, hairdresser, or similar role is preferred

In-depth knowledge of hair styling techniques and best practices

Skilled at blow drying, straightening, and curling techniques

Familiar with a variety of treatment products

Familiar with current beauty trends for makeup techniques

Up-to-date with trends in fashion and beauty
