We have an immediate opening for a part-time Salon Receptionist! This is a Great job for college students or someone looking to supplement their income. We offer competitive pay including an hourly rate, bonuses and commission on product sales.
The Salon Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers who visit our salon or contact us to learn about our beauty services.
Salon Receptionist responsibilities include:
Greeting customers upon their arrivalAnswer clients’ questions about services via phone or in personBooking and confirming appointments via phone and emailProcessing transactions (cash and credit cards)Offering beverages and conversing with clients who are in the waiting areaWelcoming walk-ins, answering questions about services and scheduling appointments based on availabilityInforming clients about new services and discountsCross-selling services and products when appropriateUpdating client recordsMaintaining a clean Salon
To be successful in this role, you should be highly organized and able to manage clients with grace, even during peak demand. Ultimately, you will help boost our reputation by building friendly, trusting relationships with customers.
Requirements:
You must have possess the following:Proven work experience as a Salon Receptionist, Front Desk Representative or a similar role is recommended but not requiredHands-on experience with office equipmentFamiliarity with processing transactionsExcellent communication abilities (verbal, phone and email) with a customer service attitudeSolid organization and record-keeping skillsAn ability to remain calm under stressful circumstancesWork schedule:* Sunday 9:00am - 4:00pm* Monday 3:00pm - 6:00pm* Tuesday 4:00pm - 7:00pm
