Job Description

As the Senior Product Manager — Square Online Checkout, you will lead one of our newest and fastest growing payments products at Square designed to help sellers simply accept payments online – in-store, on-the-go, or on their website. You will champion the needs of our target sellers, define metrics for success, and develop features and strategies to grow the product end-to-end, from activation through retention. In addition to reimagining our product, you will set a long-term vision for how we extend technical capabilities to new internal, developer, partner, and enterprise audiences.

YOU WILL:

You will report to the eCommerce Product Lead for Growth as you partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Analytics, and other product and platform teams across Square to create simple and remarkable online experiences.

• Shape a vision to help sellers simply accept online payments
• Own the product P&L for Square Online Checkout
• Manage the entire product life cycle from ideation, to planning, and execution
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to deeply understand who our sellers are and what they need
• Collaborate with engineers, product marketers, analysts, designers, and writers to build remarkable product experiences for developers, sellers, and buyers
• Influence cross-functional product roadmaps with clear prioritization and goal alignment
• Define, build, and track key performance metrics to measure success and identify new opportunities to iterate

Qualifications

YOU HAVE:

• 5+ years of product management experience, 8+ years of professional experience
• Demonstrated success launching and scaling products with thoughtful user and developer experiences
• Strong customer empathy and experience shaping product direction and execution based on customer needs
• Comfort working with data to understand performance and drive strategic decisions
• Experience driving alignment and outcomes in a complex organization.
• Passion for our purpose of economic empowerment and helping sellers succeed
