Regulatory Program Manager, Global Investigations
Job Description
The Corporate Compliance team's objective is to further Block’s mission of economic empowerment while keeping bad actors from using our platform. You will support the Global Head of Sanctions in identifying and mitigating enterprise-level program risk to help us achieve these goals.
As the Regulatory Program Manager, Global Investigations, you’re an experienced compliance practitioner who will combat sanctions risk across the organization by using tools and analyzing data to drive truly innovative decisions for the Global Sanctions Compliance Program.
YOU WILL:
Conduct enhanced due diligence investigations that support the global sanctions and anti-bribery and corruption programs. This could include reviewing international travel inquiries, global procurement, mergers and acquisitions, gifts/entertainment disclosures, ethics inquiries, and other incoming requests.
Review trends in operational quality control, identify investigatory best practices to ensure consistent, high quality standards across business units, and drive business efficiency by adopting and applying industry leading investigation tools.
Support global program requirements to monitor vendor assurances, file block/reject property reports, conduct annual screening engine tuning and analyses, and review automated screening controls.
Conduct country risk analyses that support business launches in new countries and regions, using knowledge of anti-money laundering, sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption regulations to guide your review.
