    Landlord Tenant Associate Attorney We are in search of an Associate Attorney to be a part of our law and motion department team. The perfect candidate will possess a certain level of expertise in civil litigation and possess exceptional communication abilities. Preference will be given to those with a background in unlawful detainer cases. Responsibilities: • Draft various motions and oppositions. • Perform legal research to identify legal issues and laws. • Meet and confer with defense counsel. • Discuss case strategy with experts. • Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our office. • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar. • Ability to quickly identify relevant authority. • Proficiency with the Code of Civil Procedure and Evidence Code. • Proven track record of successfully supporting and opposing dispositive motions. • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment. • Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action. • Determine case strategies and solutions to serve the clients’ needs after analysis. • Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients, and completing tasks. • Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence. • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions. Qualifications: • Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus. • Candidates must currently be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred. • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis). • Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years is required. Compensation: $110,000 - $150,000 yearly
