The Opportunity:
We seek an experienced and highly organized Landscape Construction Project Manager to join a leading residential landscape construction company in the Burlington, VT area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to manage stunning, high-value landscape projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with clients, ensuring project alignment with their vision and addressing all questions and concerns professionally.
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including accurate estimates, detailed schedules, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- On-Site Management: Oversee day-to-day execution of landscape construction projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
- Team Leadership: Guide and supervise project teams, facilitating clear communication, conflict resolution, and a positive work environment.
- Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide regular budget updates to stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve project challenges proactively, minimizing potential delays and ensuring project success.
- Administrative Duties: Prepare project documentation, progress reports, change orders, and other relevant paperwork with attention to detail.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in landscape construction project management for residential properties.
- Expertise in project planning software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Buildertrend).
- Strong understanding of landscape construction techniques, materials, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Desired Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in horticulture, landscape architecture, construction management, or related field.
- Familiarity with landscape design elements and principles.
- Experience managing projects in the $50k to $500k value range.
Compensation and Benefits
