The Opportunity:
We are searching for a highly motivated and results-driven Lawn Care Operations Manager to drive operational excellence, maximize the potential of our lawn care division, and support our continued growth trajectory. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development: Train, mentor, and supervise their lawn care technicians, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Recruit, hire, and manage staffing needs as necessary.
- Operational Efficiency & Quality Control: Analyze current workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to increase productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Ensure adherence to high-quality standards throughout lawn care operations.
- Technology Integration: Leverage their existing technology platforms to streamline processes, track performance data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize operations.
- Operational Management: Conduct weekly staff meetings, generate reports, and collaborate with other managers to ensure seamless integration between departments.
- Budget & Fleet: Contribute to budget development, manage fleet maintenance, and oversee small tool inventories to ensure cost-effectiveness and operational readiness.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in lawn care operations management, ideally within a growth-oriented company.
- Demonstrated success in staff development, training, and performance management.
- Strong understanding of lawn care techniques, products, and industry best practices.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Proficient in technology tools relevant to lawn care operations.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Business Management, or a related field.
- Experience in tick and mosquito control applications.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and reporting tools.
