Bloom Partners has been engaged by a fast-growing Commercial Landscape company in the Palm Springs, CA area to recruit and hire an experienced Continuous Improvement Specialist - Landscape Maintenance to join their team.
The Continuous Improvement Specialist is a fast-paced job that offers a variety of activities including identifying, supporting, and executing continuous improvement efforts for Landscape Maintenance Operations. This is a job that keeps you outside and, on the go, and gives you a high degree of control within your team. The Continuous Improvement Specialist achieves success by using Lean Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS include:
Base $80k - $90k+ a year
Yearly bonus up to 10% of base salary

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
Report to the Operations Manager
Coordinate & lead continuous improvement tools to find cost reduction and continuous improvement efforts across the branches to improve Landscape Operations and remove touchpoints
Assist employees in lean six sigma and improvement processes
Identify measures of success and business impact and communicate progress to leadership
Collaborate with partners to analyze continuous improvement needs and implement solutions
Be a subject matter expert on continuous improvement tools and processes, responsible for pillar team development and site-wide training where applicable.
Use continuous improvement tools, including root cause analysis, process mapping, and statistical process control to eliminate losses.
Present information in one-on-one and group settings
REQUIREMENTS:
2-3 years of Landscape experience with a passion for efficiency and improvement
Prefer Bachelors' Degree in engineering, ergonomics, business, or relevant field from accredited college
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to recognize problem situations, investigate and take appropriate steps to resolve
Green Belt Certification preferred
1 year of landscape construction experience preferred
Comfortable working in extreme heat.
