The Opportunity:

Join a thriving family-owned construction company making its mark on the Tampa market. As a Senior Project Manager within the commercial landscape division, you'll lead a team of project managers, oversee high-end projects, and play a key role in propelling the company's continued expansion.

Position Overview: This is an exceptional opportunity to step into a strategic leadership role where your construction expertise will directly impact the success of complex commercial projects. You'll manage schedules, budgets, and teams on projects typically ranging from $500k to $4 million.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 4 project managers, driving productivity and development.
• Project Oversight: Guide high-end commercial landscape construction projects from pre-construction to completion.
• Subcontractor Management: Build strong relationships and manage subcontractors, ensuring quality work and adherence to deadlines.
• Construction & Landscape Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, and best practices.
• Implement/Optimize SOPs: Optimize processes and implement standardized project management procedures.
• Client Collaboration: Communicate with developers and other stakeholders, ensuring project goals are aligned and exceeded.
• Metrics & Reporting: Track costs, timelines, and other KPIs, utilizing Procore for efficient project management.

Qualifications:

• Proven Experience: 5+ years in landscape construction project management, ideally in commercial settings.
• Self-Performing & Subcontractor Expertise: Demonstrated success managing self-performing teams and external subcontractors.
• Commercial Hardscape Expertise: Strong knowledge of hardscape elements, flat work, and related construction techniques.
• Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Procore Proficiency: Experience with Procore project management software is a plus.
• Adaptability: Ability to adjust quickly, wear multiple hats, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
