Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Glouster 418 type bag machines to ensure optimal performance and quality.
• Lead and train a team of operators, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on extrusion equipment to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Analyze production data and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with quality control to conduct inspections and tests on finished products.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in blown film extrusion, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Glouster 418 type bag machines and blown film extrusion processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.

Salary info:
