RawVoice/Blubrry, a longstanding provider in the podcasting industry, is looking for a Software Developer Intern. Students, recent graduates or those interested in programming with adequate web development experience are encouraged to apply.

Interns will be developing web applications with PHP, Python and MySQL for services that benefit podcast creators and listeners. Web development will involve creating new services, improving and adding features and squashing a bug or two in past projects. Examples of projects include:

• Podcast play/download statistics system
• Media hosting and publishing platform
• 700,000+ podcast directory
• Hosted WordPress websites
• Ad insertion system for podcasts

Ideal candidates will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, communication and documentation skills and thrive in a small, friendly, fast-paced environment. This internship is located in Columbus, Ohio, with the development team.

INTERNSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR SPRING 2020 AND SUMMER 2020. Interns work on-site 40 hours a week during student's academic semester(s). Internship has potential to become full-time employment. Internships are co-op compatible. Please indicate co-op program if applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates could be studying computer science or related major, or have moderate experience with web development.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Some experience or obtaining a degree in computer science or related major
• Understanding of a C-style language (e.g. C, C++, Java, PHP or Swift)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
