We're looking for an entry-level Designer to join our team of creators, industry rogues, Instagram story lovers, community managers, and #foryoupage admirers.
As a Designer at Blue Bear, you'll create the type of social content you as a consumer would want to engage with.
You're a flexible multi-tasker who works collaboratively and is passionate about creating designs that capture and convey ideas. You take feedback in stride and are thirsty for knowledge - always seeking out the newest design trends and looking to bolster your skillset.
We know great Designers do more than jostle type and make stuff look pretty. They brainstorm, strategize, and know their clients' business like the back of their hand. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work within a dynamic team structure with multiple creative leads, helping to support and deliver projects from concept through production
- You'll care about concepting, designing, developing, and putting the team in the best position to present our ideas more than you do about getting credit for the work
- Create designs from abstract ideas that'll knock socks right off our clients
- Edit, design and concept assets for all stages of video, photo, and animated social concepts
- Collaborate with other creatives to brainstorm original, thumb-stopping content ideas
- Help prepare and design presentations
- Have a love and mastery of Photoshop and Illustrator and feel very comfortable in all Adobe Creative Suite programs
- Continuously hone your craft and job knowledge, consuming tutorial videos, listening to podcasts, looking at competitors' and other industry work, and keeping up with digital platform trends, and exploring other efficient and effective ways to make social first content
- Demonstrate passion, curiosity and experience in making creative content on social media platforms - TikTok videos, Instagram visuals, Youtube edits
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Proven design chops, with expertise in Photoshop and Illustrator;
- Mild to major skills in After Effects and/or Premiere Pro (major plus)
- Great collaboration skills, particularly with writers and editors
- Passion, curiosity and appetite for making content on social media platforms - TikTok videos, Instagram visuals, Youtube edits
- Photo editing skills (a must);
- Video post-production experience (major plus)
- While experience behind a camera isn't required, a strong appetite to learn videography is preferred
- A generally positive disposition, with a knack for taking feedback and revisions in stride
