JOB DESCRIPTION - CONTENT CREATOR

At Blue Bite, we're changing the way people interact with the world by connecting digital information to physical things.

Our platform empowers brands to build personalized, contextual digital experiences and connect them to physical items using technologies like NFC, QR and geofencing. We need a talented, creative person to help us create the content needed to engage our audience and convey what Blue Bite can do for them.

We are looking for a highly ambitious content creator and social strategist to join the core Blue Bite marketing team and make impactful contributions to our fast-growing Company. This position will guide our social media strategy and also assist in creating and publishing other marketing assets — including website copy, video, email and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead social media strategy by creating, optimizing and monitoring high quality content designed to meet long-term goals for both social media engagement and overall company growth
• Participate in the planning, execution and distribution of a variety of marketing materials and strategies, evolving along with the needs of a fast-growing company
• Produce top-quality work that adheres to and amplifies our brand voice and messaging in all media
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects and overlapping deadlines
• Partnering with other teams at the company for various projects as needed

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS degree in a related field, or combination of relevant education and work experience
• 1-2 years related work experience
• Strong knowledge of social media principles and best practices
• Working experience in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and InDesign
• Video design and editing experience a big plus
• Sprout Social experience a plus
• Hubspot experience a plus
• Keen eye for detail and consistency, regardless of project
• Good team worker with excellent organizational skills

• Must be willing to work full-time, on site, in our New York, NY office
