  • Responsibilities

    • Management of the project schedule by the look ahead scheduling; weekly jobsite meetings and sub vendor coordination accordingly.

    • Interpret drawings and specifications, proactively identify potential constructability issues and work with project team to resolve.

    • Coordinate risk management and problem-solving solutions with sound judgement and utilizing best construction practices.

    • Act as a liaison between the Project Manager, Sub-vendors and the Owner's Representative.

    • Direct and supervise the work of all personnel on the project, such as field staff and subcontractors. Ensure subcontractors are completing work per contract documents and quality standards.

    • Complete and review field reports, time sheets, punch lists, inspections and permitting.

    • Responsible for verifying all employees time each week.

    • Always enforce safety. Hold toolbox talks at regular intervals. • Coordinate manpower activities on your job site, focusing on productivity.

    • Ensure that all field coordination with other trades is documented and within the TFS’s scope of work. Ensure that correspondence with a contractor or trade concerning coordination is written.

    • Communicate design and coordination problems.

    • Review daily progress reports.

    • Ensure that all material for a job is ordered and picked up consistently.

    • Ensure that any additional work beyond the original scope have a work order filled out and signed by the General Contractor.

    • Attend and ensure that all preliminary and final testing pass on a first go basis. Corrections or adjustments to be handled immediately.

    • Ensure all fleet is clean and in working conditions.

    • Ensure that all tools assigned are safeguarded and maintained. Tools are each foreman’s financial responsibility. Tools inventory lists are to be maintained up to date.

    • Able to assess situations and determine the correct plan of action to get jobs done in a timely manner.

    • Ability to understand fire sprinkler and construction plan blueprints.

    • Order and deliver materials to the project

    • Is responsible for bringing in the job on schedule. TRACKING HOURS.

    • Willing to work overtime.

    • Be a career minded, results driven self-starter that can represent our company in the field

    • Communicate clearly and often!

    • Attend jobsite meetings. Know schedules.

    • Assess and review subordinates to company standards.

    • Create coaching/development plan for field personnel to ensure their growth

    • Possess a strong work ethic; 8 for 8 mentality.

    • Ability to plan on scheduling needs regarding labor/material activities and meet provide reports as needed.

    • Tech friendly. Ability to use phone, email, and computer devices for basic communication.

    • Mark up drawings as needed.

    • Make lists for materials to order

    • Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school, GED, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 6 years of field experience. Ability to work independently and motivate one to several field teams. Ability to meet and exceed project schedules. Possesses good communication skills.
