Job Title: Groundsperson/Aerial Lift Operator/Tree Climber
Location: Bremen, IN
Compensation: $18 - $28 per hour
$500 Sign-On Bonus

Work Schedule:
Typical Hours: 6 AM - 4 PM
On-Call Rotation for Emergency Storm Work
Job Descriptions and Requirements:
Perform daily maintenance tasks to help maintain team equipment.
Communicate professionally with team members and leaders.
Follow instructions from team members, leaders, or foremen.
Clean up brush and wood on job sites as needed.
Safely use and maintain chainsaws, hand tools, chippers, and vehicles.
Demonstrate competency in "sawmanship," including safely removing brush and felling trees using proper techniques.
Show a growing knowledge of tree identification and relevant information, such as growth rate and density.
Identify proper conductors and their approach distances.
Demonstrate competency in different knot tying and proper rope wrapping.
Safely move vehicles with or without chippers or trailers attached.
Meet all Groundsperson requirements.
Electrical Hazard Awareness Program (EHAP) Certified (current and not expired).
CPR/First Aid trained and certified.
Verified competency in bucket operations by an approved trainer.
Use aerial perspective to aid in safety practices, including looking out for drop zones, bouncing limbs, and oncoming traffic.
Communicate to change dangerous environments into safe ones using vocal commands or hand signals.
Apply specialized "sawmanship" practices for bucket crews.
Meet all Groundsperson requirements.
EHAP Certified (current and not expired).
CPR/First Aid trained and certified.
Verified competency in bucket operations by an approved trainer.
Experience working on the Bucket Crew for a designated time as decided by the Crew Leader and Climbing Trainer.
Use aerial perspective to aid in safety practices.
Communicate to change dangerous environments into safe ones using vocal commands or hand signals.
Trained with climbing gear by an approved Mint City Utility Services Climbing Trainer.
Apply specialized "sawmanship" practices for climbing crews.
License Requirements:

Additional Information:
