Retail Merchandising Team Lead

We search for individuals who are passionate about helping others and enjoy interacting with our clients, shoppers, and team members. We are seeking a Retail Merchandising Team Lead who is energetic, hardworking and a quick learner to join our team. During the week, you will lead the merchandising of a home by organizing the sales area and pricing the merchandise. On the weekend, you will lead the operation and execution of the estate sale.

Responsibilities:

Lead a small team by example in the following weekday tasks:

Lead a small team to prepare and execute operations for an estate sale

Stage items for display to create a pop-up retail shop environment inside of each home

Remove, sort and organize items throughout clients' homes, including those in attics, basements, storage areas, etc.

Research and price items for sale

Lead a small team by example in the following sale day tasks:

Interact with customers in a professional manner

Control crowds, and keep shoppers out of specified areas

Resolve pricing issues

Deliver excellent customer service

Accurately input customer and item data into our P.O.S. system

Maintain security and item pickup procedures

Be responsible for handling cash during the sale

Balance registers before and after the sale

Qualifications:

Previous retail or estate sale experience preferred

Customer service oriented

Reliable and trustworthy

Ethical, act with integrity

Understand basic product pricing

Ability to work flexible hours and in a variety of locations

Locations will vary from week to week depending on the sizes of clients’ homes and the number of sales happening

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Access to reliable transportation
