Here at Blue Moon Estate Sales, we pride ourselves in having the most friendly and helpful estate liquidators in the business. We search for individuals who are passionate about helping others and who want to share their passion with others.
We are seeking a personable, hardworking, quick learner to join our team. In this position, you will manage and supervise a team of employees during the weekday staging and pricing process as well as one of the two days during our weekend estate sales. Initially, you will perform as a contract worker as you receive training and gain experience. There will be opportunity for growth once proficient in our systems and after attaining a base knowledge of pricing and staging, as well as demonstrating stellar leadership and customer service skills. At that point, the candidate will have an increase in compensation.
Responsibilities:
Ability to work 4 week days and 1 weekend day.
Have a clear understanding of Blue Moon Estate Sales core values and brand standards.
Provide oversight and direction to a team of employees in the operating unit in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the Blue Moon Estate Sales core values and brand standards.
Appropriately communicate organizational information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings and appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications.
Provide effective performance feedback through team member recognition, rewards and disciplinary action, with the assistance of the owner when necessary.
Develop personal growth opportunities and further the education of yourself and your team.
Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment.
Delegate responsibilities, and expect accountability and regular feedback.
Motivate staff members to complete staging and pricing process efficiently while maintaining a high level of expectation
Help to hire and train new team members.
Learn POS and assist during sales when needed
Tasks that will be required for weekly staging/pricing work include:
Remove, sort and organize items throughout clients’ homes, including those in attics, basements, storage areas, etc.
Place items in a logical manner throughout each home (pots in the kitchen, tools in the garage, etc.)
Stage items for display, thus creating a pop-up retail shop environment inside of each residence.
Evaluate and place a price sticker or tag on each item or lot of items for sale.

Flexible working hours (work hours and locations will vary from week to week depending on the sizes of clients’ homes and the number of sales happening within two week periods)
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
Must have transportation to various locations throughout central indiana
Must have access to a working cell phone and email
