    Estate Sales Team Member

    At Blue Moon Estate Sales we pride ourselves in having the most friendly and helpful estate sale team in the business. We search for individuals who enjoy helping others and want to share their passion for estate sales and sustainability. We are seeking Estate Sale Team Members who want to do a variety of tasks including helping to stage, organize and price the contents of homes during the week and aid in the operation and execution of our estate sale into the weekend.

    A little bit about us. We originally opened our location in Utah in 2021. Having recently moved our business to middle Tennessee, we are building up our new Blue Moon family. We are a small business, owned and operated by a husband and wife team and if you love estate sales, vintage, and secondhand, we'd love to hear from you!

    Requirements:

    Be willing to arrive on time and be in the home ready to set up or work the event

    Must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive to various house locations around Nashville

    Must have a smart phone with internet access that you are willing to use

    Lift and move up to 50lbs around home, up/down stairs and for short distances

    Must be reliable, trustworthy and comfortable working flexible hours (work is not always consistent and sometimes we go weeks without running an estate sale)

    Willingness to learn staging, pricing and our estate sale processes

    Week day tasks that will be required:

    Stage items for display to create a pop-up retail shop environment inside of each residence

    Remove, sort and organize items throughout the clients’ homes, including those in attics, basements, storage areas, etc.

    Place items in a logical manner throughout each home

    Evaluate and place a price sticker or tag on each item or lot of items for sale

    Weekend tasks that will be required:

    Interact with and help customers in a kind and friendly manner

    Deliver excellent customer service

    Be able to operate a Point of Sale System and register, handle cash and work well under pressure

    Be responsible for handling cash during the sale

    Restage the home and organize items throughout the sale
