This is a non-technical internship position designed to provide qualified students an opportunity to learn valuable knowledge in a hands-on manner, learning more about accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end close responsibilities including journal entries, account reconciliations and reporting. Responsibilities: Work with the accounts payable team to process accounts payable transactions and research and resolve discrepancies. Work with the accounts receivables team to research and resolve exceptions. Prepare account reconciliations on assigned accounts. Work with the financial reporting team on drafting reporting deliverables. Assist with project implementation and analyses Ad hoc projects and tasks, as deemed necessary Qualifications: Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate level program with course-credit available for internship work Pursuing a degree in Business Administration preferably with a concentration in Accounting Organized and able to multitask in a fast paced environment Independent and takes initiative to complete projects or tasks Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills Excellent communication skills
