    About the Technical Support Engineer Position

    We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support to our customers. This technician will give support via phone, web, email, chat and other channels as required. A background in IT support is a must.

    Technical Support Engineer Responsibilities

    • Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution

    • Study, diagnose, troubleshoot and recognize issues to provide comprehensive solutions

    • Provide timely and detailed feedback to customers

    • Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues

    • Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes

    Technical Support Engineer Requirements

    • Proven working experience in IT support or as a technical engineer

    • In-depth knowledge of Windows, MacOS, and Linux administration

    • Great problem-solving skills

    • Great client-facing skills

    • MySQL/Postgresql knowledge/experience

    • Google Cloud/AWS Knowledge

    • Meraki Experience

    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

    Additional preference will be given to candidates with multiple years' experience with the following:

    • Dataiku Datastudio Experience
    • Scripting Language Experience (Bash, Perl, Python, etc)
    • Devops Experience
    • Ansible Experience

    This position has an approximate 10% travel requirement.
