About the Technical Support Engineer Position
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support to our customers. This technician will give support via phone, web, email, chat and other channels as required. A background in IT support is a must.
Technical Support Engineer Responsibilities
Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution
Study, diagnose, troubleshoot and recognize issues to provide comprehensive solutions
Provide timely and detailed feedback to customers
Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes
Technical Support Engineer Requirements
Proven working experience in IT support or as a technical engineer
In-depth knowledge of Windows, MacOS, and Linux administration
Great problem-solving skills
Great client-facing skills
MySQL/Postgresql knowledge/experience
Google Cloud/AWS Knowledge
Meraki Experience
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Additional preference will be given to candidates with multiple years' experience with the following:
