Job Title: Network Automation Architect Location: Denver, CO

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Blue Planet Solution Architect to design and lead end-to-end network automation and orchestration solutions using Ciena Blue Planet products. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Blue Planet MDSO, BPI, and Analytics, along with deep knowledge of OSS/BSS integration, SDN, NFV, and multi-domain orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end technical architectures using Ciena Blue Planet products, including:

Blue Planet MDSO (Multi-Domain Service Orchestration)

Blue Planet Inventory (BPI)

Blue Planet Analytics

Lead the design, governance, and implementation of network automation and orchestration solutions using Blue Planet technologies.

Define logical, physical, and deployment architectures integrating OSS/BSS platforms and network systems.

Act as the technical authority and subject matter expert for Blue Planet solutions across the organization.

Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solution blueprints, high-level designs (HLD), and low-level designs (LLD).

Ensure all solutions are cloud-native, highly available, secure, scalable, and resilient.

Bridge business requirements, OSS/BSS environments, and network infrastructure by developing architectures for:

SDN (Software Defined Networking)

NFV (Network Function Virtualization)

Multi-domain orchestration

Ensure compliance with TM Forum standards and industry best practices.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and implementation teams on architecture decisions, design patterns, and coding standards.

Review solution designs, code, and deployment strategies to ensure alignment with architectural standards.

Support solution deployment, migration, transformation, and production rollout programs.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with Ciena Blue Planet products and ecosystem.

Expertise in Blue Planet MDSO, BPI, and Analytics.

Strong understanding of OSS/BSS integration and telecom network architectures.

Experience with SDN, NFV, network orchestration, and service automation.

Experience designing cloud-native, secure, and highly available enterprise solutions.

Strong knowledge of HLD/LLD preparation and enterprise architecture practices.

Familiarity with TM Forum standards and telecom industry best practices.

Ability to lead technical discussions with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in telecom transformation or network automation programs.

Experience with multi-vendor OSS/BSS and network environments.

Knowledge of containerization, microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms.

Experience supporting deployment, migration, and modernization initiatives.
