The Blue Raven Solar Marketing Strategy Internship brings bright, motivated individuals the opportunity to receive mentorship, supervision, and training in a Corporate Marketing environment. In addition to gaining hands-on experience in a Marketing department, the Marketing Strategy Intern will attend various cross functional presentations, obtain hands-on experience with existing marketing collateral and projects, and have an opportunity to not only learn from the Blue Raven Solar experience but will also contribute to the mission of the business by addressing multiple needs of the department and team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Assist with collecting appropriate industry news and disseminating that information to company leadership.
• Assist with writing engaging copy for blogs and portions of the company site.
• Perform Marketing department tasks as needed.
• Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends.
• Assist with daily administrative duties.
• Design and present new social media campaign ideas.
• Prepare detailed promotional presentations.
• Help with the planning and hosting of marketing events.
• Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.
• Assist in organization of existing marketing content.
• Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content.
• Innovate and Continuously Improve upon team efficiency

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Students majoring in Marketing, Advertising and/or Business a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High energy and desire to successfully manage projects and execute with all projects assigned
• Attention to details and deadline oriented
• A great attitude and willingness to produce results quickly and efficiently

The majority of the work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities. Some travel in this position may be required.
