    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The HR Assistant's responsibility is to aid in the routine functions of the Human Resources department and support the employees of Blue Raven Solar. The HR Assistant works closely with the Senior HR Manager to execute the daily operations of the HR department, enforcing company policies and practices, maintaining employee records and systems, and performing audits on an as needed basis. As an integral member of the People Team, the HR Assistant will also at times help to support their colleagues in Corporate Training and Office Management as we collectively work together to support the people that make up Blue Raven Solar.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    • Manage HR Email Inbox, HR phone line, & basic HR requests– disseminate requests to appropriate department and handle all other requests.
    • Maintain employee records, HR Sharepoint dashboard, and HR tracking systems.
    • Maintain 1-9 files for all employees for new hires and separations; create separation paperwork; partner with HR Manager on turnover reporting.
    • Assist with requests for Parental Leave, FMLA, ADA, FFCRA.
    • Audits & Compliance – assist with audit process for EEOC, FLSA, I-9, & FFCRA.
    • Assist with upkeep of health benefits and 401k program.
    • Assist with requests and special projects from management; develop and analyze employee data for executive reports.
    • HR Special Projects – running analysis, correcting found errors, compiling data; creating and updating SOPs to further shape the department's processes.
