    Full Job Description

    We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Bartender and are actively looking to meet the best and brightest talent that the hospitality industry has to offer.     Responsibilities:

    • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar area
    • Stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, and produce
    • Maintain stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables
    • Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
    • Promote and document orders for drinks
    • Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practice portion control
    • Attend monthly departmental meetings
    • Input orders into POS and creates a check for each guest
    • Receive cash from guests, makes any change needed, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and insures vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all moneys
    • Lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank at end of shift as needed
    • Sanitize and clean in and around the bar area
    • Work effectively and efficiently with the service and kitchen teams
    • Communicate any challenges, guest complaints or requests to supervisors and managers
    • Observe all safety procedures during the execution of assigned duties
    • Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests, co-workers, and management
    • Arrive at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready to work
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and holidays
    • Legal ability to serve alcohol in the State
    • Knowledge of state and local guidelines regarding service of alcohol
    • Knowledge of drink preparation, previous bartender experience preferred
    • Computational skills to process guest payment
    • Ability to lift trays of beverages or food items weighing up to 30 pounds regularly
    • High energy and interpersonal skills
