    Job Title: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Consultant (DEI Consultant)
    Duration: Now through end of the year **
    Rate:** $90 - $100 based on experience
    Location: Merrillville, IN or Columbus, OH
    Work Type: Hybrid (onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays)

    Scope of Services:**

    As a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Consultant (DEI Consultant), you will play a pivotal role in advancing company-wide diversity and inclusion initiatives. Your responsibilities include overseeing and supporting various DEI programs, updating the DEI intranet page with knowledge articles, events, and additional resources, collaborating with talent acquisition to develop inclusive talent pipelines, and facilitating DEI training programs, covering aspects such as inclusive leadership and conscious/unconscious bias. You will also provide support for Employee Reference Groups, update DEI scorecards for leadership, and take an active role in planning and supporting DEI events, both internal and external, in collaboration with community partners. With a minimum of 5 years of dedicated DEI experience, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to foster an inclusive and diverse work environment.

    Role, Responsibilities, and Deliverables:**

    • Support company wide diversity and inclusion programs
    • Update DEI intranet page (knowledge articles, events, additional resources, etc)
    • Work with talent acquisition to develop talent pipelines
    • Support DEI training programs (including inclusive leadership training, conscious/unconscious bias, etc)
    • Support Employee Reference Groups
    • Update DEI scorecards for leadership
    • Plan / support DEI events (internal and external with community partners)

    **
    Experience:**

    • Must have at least 5 years of DEI experience
    • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic DEI plans aligned with organizational goals.
    • Proficiency in creating, analyzing, and reporting on DEI metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of initiatives.
    • Experience in crafting and revising organizational policies to ensure inclusivity and equity.
    • Proven track record in designing and delivering DEI training sessions, workshops, and facilitating discussions on related topics.
    • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring organizational compliance.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with executive leadership to integrate DEI into overall business strategy.
    • Proven ability to introduce innovative and effective DEI solutions tailored to the organization's unique needs.
    • Utilizing surveys and feedback mechanisms to assess the DEI climate within the organization and implementing improvements based on insights.
