    Job Title: Junior Financial Analyst
    Location: Lake Forest, IL – Onsite 4 days – Local candidates only
    Period: 04/15/2024 to 07/26/2024 - possibility for extensions depending on business needs and candidate performance Hours/Week: 40 hours
    Rate: $20-$25/hour (Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half)
    Contract Type: W-2

    Scope of Services:

    The Junior Financial Analyst will play a vital role in analyzing financial data, projecting financial conditions based on historical performance and current earnings, and conducting feasibility and profitability assessments. Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced) and Power BI (intermediate or higher) or similar data tools is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a strong willingness to learn quickly.

    Role, Responsibilities, and Deliverables:

    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and projections based on analysis.
    • Review proposals and conduct feasibility studies to assess potential profitability.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making processes.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial information.
    • Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial plans, and strategic initiatives.
    • Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
    • Communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders effectively.

    Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is required.
    • 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or related field.
    • Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced) and Power BI (intermediate or higher) or similar data tools.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic financial environment.
