**Position: Business Analyst

Location: Local to Minneapolis candidates only - Candidate will be required to be onsite 1-2 days/week
Length of Engagement: December 2023 through December 31, 2024
Hours/Week: 40 hours
Pay Rate: $40-45 per hour, negotiable based on experience

Scope of Services**:

The Business Analyst, working under the guidance of the Service Intake Demand Manager, will spearhead the end-to-end management of service intake processes. This includes meticulous tracking of intake requests, leveraging systems like SharePoint, ServiceNow, and JIRA, effective stakeholder communication, technical guidance for problem definition and resolution, maintenance of comprehensive project artifacts, and proactive risk identification and mitigation. The Business Analyst's qualifications encompass a strong grasp of IT service delivery frameworks, expertise in Agile methodologies, and a preference for candidates with a deep understanding of Infrastructure capabilities.

Role, Responsibilities, and Deliverables:**

• Track intake requests from initiation through delivery, warranty, if applicable, and closure in the various systems of record including SharePoint, ServiceNow, JIRA, or other Project Portfolio management database as required (40%)
• Manage stakeholder communications and act as a technical resource for customers and Service owners in defining problem, scope, business case, and cost estimations, and resolution (30%)
• Maintain project artifacts including planning and decision logs, requirements documentation, meeting scheduling and minutes, and approval tracking (20%)
• Identify potential risks; develop and execute mitigation strategies, escalating to DM as needed (10%)

Qualifications:**

• Knowledge of IT service delivery frameworks including SDLC and PMLC
• Knowledge of Agile project management and sprint-based, iterative development methodology
• Preferred: Deep understanding of and experience with Infrastructure capabilities (e.g. servers, networks, data centers, telephony, cloud services, and hardware.)
