Rate: $85 - $95 per hour

The client is looking for an experienced Business Continuity Consultant (BC/OHS) who will support the re-engineering and maintenance of the ‘Best in Industry’ Resilience program in the areas of:

• Business Continuity
• Occupational Health and Safety
• Physical Security
• Emergency Management
• Crisis Response

The consultant is expected to have a solid level of understanding of Business Continuity “industry standards/best practices” to support the Resilience Officer and leaders in developing and delivering strategies, methodologies, plans, and tests that align with global Standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the revamping and implementation of a standardized approach to Business Continuity, Crisis & Emergency Management, OHS Management, Protective Security, and document management
• Drive BCM lifecycle activities (business impact analysis, risk assessments, recovery strategy & planning, testing support, or general resilience program implementation) according to the defined project plan
• Assist in orchestrating cross-functional exercise drills for Emergency Management, BCM & OHS
• Collaborate across the business colleagues vendors and other Allianz subsidiaries, Security, IT, and HR
• Complete assignments under the guidance of the Resilience & OHS Officer, including project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting and problem resolution, client and stakeholder management, and all other relevant aspects of the assignments
• Ensure the development of colleagues via mentoring and training

Skill and Experience – MUST HAVE

• Operational business experience for at least 5+ years with a focus on Business Continuity Management (BCM), Crisis Management, Occupational Health and Safety Management, and/or Resilience
• Industry BCI/DRII certification
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SharePoint; Microsoft Outlook; Web-based communications tools; and internet-based research.
• Financial services industry experience helpful
• Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects with competing priorities and still deliver high-quality products, on-time
