    We’re hiring a housekeeping manager to provide excellent sanitation and customer service to our hotel guests. You’ll be responsible for leading the housekeeping staff, ensuring team members perform their job duties to our high standards, and keeping the housekeeping department well-stocked with cleaning supplies. Applicants should have hospitality experience, enjoy their work, and demonstrate a commitment to meeting and exceeding guest expectations. Previous experience in a supervisory role is required. Responsibilities: • Supervise housekeeping staff as they perform daily assignments, including cleaning all guest rooms and public areas • Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies • Arrange for cleaning equipment repairs as needed and keep all other equipment in good working condition • Track of areas cleaned by room attendants and contact the front office to handle room damage or maintenance needs • Lead, hire, and train hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction • Inspections daily and corrections as needed to maintain standards in the hotel • Greet guests warmly and politely, using discretion to avoid disturbing guests in rooms or public spaces • Ability to learn and train on everything in guest rooms (climate control, fireplaces, fans, TVs, lighting, etc) and be able to explain the operation to our guests • Cross-train for other team positions in accordance with your career goals and any duties as assigned Qualifications: • Strong understanding of environmental services (EVS) including cleaning processes and how to use a variety of cleaning supplies and equipment • Must possess excellent leadership, organizing, and customer service skills • A High school diploma or GED is required • Over 3 years of experience as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping manager, or similar • At least 2+ years experience in hospitality or guest services • Must be eligible to work in the United States of America • Must be at least 18 years of age • Ability to communicate in English, both orally and written, with guests and employees, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy Compensation: $22 - $24 hourly
