    At Bluegrey Mortgage, our mission is to create a first-class lending experience for all of our clients. We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) who is passionate about providing top-notch service to clients in search of obtaining a mortgage loan. The MLO’s primary function is to respond to mortgage inquiries and referrals that are generated from both their own contacts and from other Bluegrey Mortgage's business channels. The MLO will conduct interviews with prospective borrowers in order to analyze financial and credit data, determine financing objectives, advise borrowers of products, and gather any additional required information. Excellent communication and client service skills are a must. The MLO must adhere to the highest ethical standards, possess impeccable attention to detail, and exhibit an exceptionally professional manner. We are searching for a person who genuinely desires to help others and takes pride in their quality of work. Bluegrey Mortgage has a fun, hard-working culture! We provide weekly one-on-one coaching, marketing support, a fantastic loan processing team, and a variety of loan programs to offer to clients. We also take initiative in setting up and sponsoring networking events to promote our exposure in the community. Responsibilities: • Originate self-sourced loans. • Produce pre-approvals from inbound inquiries. • Counsel borrowers by recommending loan solutions in accordance with lending guidelines to determine which loan product suits best the scenario provided. • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners. • Collect and analyze customer financial information to assess creditworthiness. • Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline. Qualifications: • High school education or greater. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, banking, real estate or related field preferred. • Knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac and FHA/VA policies and guidelines. As well as knowledge of state and federal regulations. • Must be detail-oriented and possess exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and handle confidential information. • Understanding of loan origination software. • Active Florida NMLS license is required. Compensation: $50,000 - $150,000 yearly
