OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Our MDU Account Executive will be responsible for generating and following up on opportunities for establishing entry agreements with MDUs as listed below. This position will provide service offerings and offer quotations to the multi dwelling units as well as demonstrate commitment to Bluepeak’s Corporate Value System. This position must be willing to host/sponsor agreed upon events to promote Bluepeak and the services Bluepeak offers. Furthermore, as a MDU Specialist he/she will also collaborate with the construction department to substantiate the cost of construction to the facility. If this sounds exciting, please read on.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
This is an exciting opportunity for a well-spoken individual who thorough communication skills that will help maintain good standing with customers and attract new customers as well.
- Follow up on leads generated by marketing activities; visits or telephones potential customers to discuss service needs; Develop referrals and make contact to other potential candidates in assigned territory; Ensure contacts receive marketing literature and price catalogs; Answer any questions and obtains any further information necessary for customers
- Sell Fiber Services and bundled services to residential customers in serviceable areas
- Describe and demonstrate the features, benefits, and value of Bluepeak product offerings, services, and billing procedures
- Maintain company-established homes passed objectives, prospects, closing standards, bundling objectives and sales production standards with a focus on retention and churn management
- Provide assessment of customer premises to identify special wiring or hardware needs to ensure timely and efficient installations
- Assist customers with ordering information, provide quotations on customer requirements
- Complete sales orders and process them accurately
- Work promotional events, including evening and weekend times
- Participate in the development and implementation of the business strategy for the region
- Attend all scheduled meetings; includes daily sales meetings, monthly employee meetings, and any other company functions or scheduled sales meetings
- Required to make the established monthly quota
- Responsible for networking with Apartment/Townhome industry professionals
- Provide briefings on sales activities, problems, etc. to Supervisor as necessary or requested
- Performs any other appropriately related duty as requested by Supervisor
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree in sales, marketing or business preferred
- Upon job offer, must be able to complete a background check and a drug test prior to employment
- Valid Driver’s License and driving record that meets the standards of our insurance company is required
- A minimum of 2 years professional sales experience is required
- Ability to work beyond normal business hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
- Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work on personal initiative and meet strict deadlines and sales objectives
- Ability to speak in public and motivate others
