An energy engineering consulting firm is seeking an Energy Systems Engineer to help them develop and execute plans to reduce energy and carbon-emissions intensity in large buildings through intelligent Deep Energy Retrofits and smart new building designs at their Oakland, CA office.

Your Day Includes

• Assessing buildings, analyzing systems, and developing actionable recommendations for holistic energy solutions.

• Commissioning of systems in new or existing buildings

• Whole-building energy modeling

• Collaborating with energy industry professionals to design and implement energy-efficient systems.

• Evaluate Investment Opportunities and produce cost estimation and analysis for lifecycle of buildings

Must Haves

• Undergraduate engineering degree (Mech, Elec, Civil, Industrial, Computer Science).

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience or master's degree plus 2 years (5-7 years ideal).

• Understanding of basic energy-project economics.
