We currently have an opening for a Trade-show Installation Supervisor in our Las Vegas, Nevada operations facility.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Overall Summary of Function

    The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for highly organized Supervision of the receiving Department which includes the Supervision of all inbound shipments and deliveries, inbound will-calls, sub-rentals and all event returned inventory. Successful department supervision includes, but is not limited TO, SAFETY supervision, Shift attendance, ensuring the accuracy of Operations board & logs and assigned warehouse projects in accordance with Company polices and business objectives.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    At Minimum Duties & Responsibilities

    • Ensures all Department Operation Board are filled & Updated
    • Assist monitoring department daily Shifts attendance
    • Responsible for inputting & updating data on the Company Inventory Management System (Return, Damaged, Missing))
    • Responsible for updating department schedules.
    • Ensures the QC process and segregation of all off-loaded items
    • Coordinates with the Department Manager for appropriate staffing levels.
    • Responsible for ensuring for the accuracy of all off-loaded Items
    • Supervises the receiving leads and team members in a consistent, positive & effective manner.
    • Ensures all department processes and policies are followed and adhered to
    • Communicates effectively with other departments Lead & Supervisors
    • Follows up & request updates on Pending Items
    • Responsible to meet shift production goals.
    • Responsible for completing department shift paperwork
    • Supervise the Receiving team in accordance with Company policies and procedures
    • Precisely Supervise all Sub-rentals/Will Call orders are returned from events for accurate delivery, logs & returns
    • Ensures & Enforces Systems for managing all inbound shipments
    • Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
    • Supervise the Physical movement and storage of company stock, tools, equipment & materials accompanied by an accurate par stock system
    • Ensures all company Receiving, loss prevention and security measures are implemented & adhered to by staff
    • Ensures a clean and safe work environment at all times
    • Troubleshoots & resolves employee questions and concerns
    • Reports to the Department Manager any Safety hazard or concern
    •  Ensure that all department tools & supplies are locked and accounted for and the end of the shift
    • Proposes cost effective improvements to equipment & operational processes
    • Assist with Assigning daily & weekly schedules related to event volume and department projects
    • Ensures department goals (Daily, Weekly, monthly) are met
    • Available for emergency contact & supervision assistance when necessary including nights & weekends
    • Attends a twice-daily operations meeting, company production meetings & sales meeting as required
    • Finish duties and task in a timely manner
    • Ensures the Receiving Department inbound shipments and delivery logs are filled and updated
    • Ensures all inbound shipments are appropriately distributed.
    • Assist with Inventory delivery or Pick up to and from Venues or Company approved vendors as required.
    • Other duties assigned
    • This position does require overtime and some weekend hours

The temperature will vary from hot to cold depending on the weather. The employee must be able to drive 16' and 24' truck.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    At Minimum Training, Education & Experience

    • GED or high school diploma (B.S or associates degree preferred)
    • Minimum 2 years in event related field operations
    • 1-2 years experience Supervising staff
    • Ability train and coach staff on a regular basis
    • Understands basic accounting & standard business operations practice
    • Demonstrates the ability to be organized, detail oriented and team driven
    • Advanced computer skills including email, Microsoft office software
    • Flexible and adaptable to constant change
    • Currently in possession of a valid driver's license with clear driving record
    • Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as potential & current clients
    • pays attention to details in composing, typing and proofing materials
    • respects confidentiality in discussing clients' proprietary information and staff
    • bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
    • Must be able to drive 16' and 24' trucks
