    JOB SUMMARY:

    Salary: 50K - 60K

    Overall Summary of Function

    The Creative Production Designer provides creative visual design concepts using a variety of mediums for high profile events. This role collaborates with multiple divisions on developing and executing design concepts that align with project specifications, as well as assisting key members within the sales and other creative departments in the company. Extreme attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at a time is required.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    At Minimum Duties & Responsibilities

    · Works Daily with Creative Director and Sales Division on leading creative design concepts and event specifications

    · Utilizes a variety of applications to Create effective creative visuals (2d & 3d)

    · Demonstrates a solid design sense surrounding space, measurements, form, volume and color

    · Directs the total creative design and integral components for high profile, large scale projects and RFP's

    · Presents designs in a unified, on-brand format including, but not limited to, Renderings, CAD Models, Floor plans, Design Decks etc.

    • Gathers estimates for specialty items of the event production (Custom Fabrication, purchases, etc)

    · Works off-site with BPS Sales Team and/or Clients to collect design specifications

    · Monitors assigned design projects through all phases of production

    · Works in conjunction with Fabrication to ensure custom pieces are built to specifications

    · Collaborates with assigned team on completion of technical project documentation and communication

    · Communicates design feedback and expectations utilizing verbal and visual tools

    · Collaborates in the maintenance of the catalog of rendered designs for future referral and inspiration

    · Reads publications, attends showings and also studies competing products and designs to obtain further perspective

    · Reviews design subscriptions and other applications to maintain understanding of future trends

    · Works with the Creative Director on the continued development of the Creative Team skill sets

    · Collaborates with Independent Contractors for project completion

    • Intense knowledge of BPS Inventory and specifics
    • Comprehensive knowledge of BPS suite of service and production applications

    · Manages design standardized proof documents

    · Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    At Minimum Training, Education & Experience

    • Four-year degree from an Accredited University in Design, Industrial Design and/or Architecture
    • 2+ Years working in a similar position
    • Advanced knowledge in CAD drawings (space planning, elevations)
    • Proficient in 3D renderings (concept visualization) preferably in Sketch up, Key shot & 3D Max
    • Proficient in Adobe Suite
    • Strong Design Esthetic within the fields of Events and Interior Design
    • Highly creative and can bring abstract ideas into sustainable design
    • Ability to learn and apply direction quickly and efficiently
    • Ability to lead team projects and takes ownership of successful and unsuccessful design
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    • Excellent ability to speak, write and understand English
    • Excellent customer services skills
    • Ability to work independently with a high sense of integrity
    • Ability to work safely in a variety of work conditions including but not limited to indoor and outdoor spaces
    • Must have excellent working knowledge within the design industry
    • Excellent rendering portfolio
    • Excellent working knowledge of various illustration and rendering programs
    • Excellent structural and technical drawing capabilities
    • Space planning knowledge
    • Moderate sketching abilities
