This is a highly analytical role responsible for supporting the commercial product management leadership team in the development and implementation of pricing models to take advantage of market opportunities, accelerate business growth and profitability.  Considering data from multiple sources, this role brings insight into pricing strategies and market trends based on competitor, market, and customer data.

You’ll work cross-functionally on pricing initiatives to support new business models, define strategies for new offering pricing, and optimize pricing across the company’s product portfolio.  take advantage of market opportunities that can accelerate business growth and profitability

• Maintain a comprehensive view of the product portfolio’s pricing position including competitor pricing, market share, margins, customer usage and engagement to gain a complete picture of the effectiveness of pricing strategies

• Conduct on-going product and market pricing analysis, including similar products in the Kofax ecosystem, product usage, booked order analysis, discount requests, win-loss data, etc.

• Derive insights from these multiple data sources and utilize them to develop models and provide pricing advice to decision-makers, providing insight on the impact of pricing changes on profitability and growth rates

• Manage the pipeline of pricing projects ensuring they are completed in a timely manner and effectively communicated and rolled out to key internal stakeholders, partners and customers. Track, measure and evaluate progress against financial and strategic goals, providing metrics and dashboards to stakeholders that provide insight into what is working, what is not working and why

• Identify opportunities to optimize monetization strategies and product packaging approaches based on your unique market and competitive pricing insight.

• Works closely with the product operations analyst to implement new pricing in conjunction with established processes and back-office systems and monitor feedback to ensure that pricing is accurately implemented.

• Ideally candidate has some subject matter expertise on enterprise software pricing industry standards and market trends

Required Experience

• 7 + years of related B2B experience in a pricing, finance, operations, analytics, or corporate strategy-based role in enterprise software.
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, statistics, mathematics, or other comparable business or applied science discipline. MBA highly desired.
