    DIVISION/DEPARTMENT INFORMATION

    The Department of Psychology at St. John’s University is seeking applicants for a full-time non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor to begin fall 2022. Non-tenure track faculty positions are 1-year renewable contracts and salary will be dependent upon position and qualifications. Selected candidate will teach in our undergraduate and graduate programs at our Queens Campus.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Division is looking for candidates who can support the growth of our graduate Behavior Analyst and undergraduate assistant Behavior Analyst concentrations within the Department of Psychology. Candidates engage primarily in teaching a diverse array of students. Some administrative duties in support of the behavior analyst concentrations will be required. Student advisement and active participation in departmental and college events and committees will be required. 

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Candidates should have a doctorate in psychology, BCBA-D (Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral), and licensed or licensed eligible to practice as a psychologist in NY. Candidates must show evidence of professional and scholarly activity, teaching excellence, and student engagement. Selected applicants will teach courses in functional behavioral assessment, principles of behavior, and research methodology.
