    Job Description

    Bluestem Health is looking for a Full-Time LPN to join our team of professionals. The hours for this position will be M-F from 8 am to 5 pm, no weekends/no holidays!

    The Licensed Practical Nurse functions as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success of the practice by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism, and teamwork. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families.

    GENERAL DUTIES:

    • Perform general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.   
    • Obtain and document health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs 
    • Execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers prescribed medications, and monitor and document treatment progress and patient response.
    • Assists providers with special tests and procedures within the standard scope of practice.        
    • Assist in clinic(s) as needed. Including, but not limited to, medication refills, referrals, medication prior authorizations and phone calls.   
    • Triage patients in person and via telephone.  
    • Prepare medical treatment room and set up patient care equipment.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Nebraska LPN license required
    • Valid and current CPR
    • Computer skills required
    • Clinic experience is preferred, but not required
