Job Overview

bo-mar Industries is in search of a Sheet Metal Fabricator / Welder for 1st shift. This position will be responsible for the fabrication of custom metal assemblies from 7:00am -3:30pm Monday through Friday at our shop in Beech Grove, Indiana. This will include duties pertaining to welding, assembly, interpretation of engineered drawings, and collaboration in fabrication methods. Responsibilities and Duties

• Utilize and interpret engineered drawings to determine how to fabricate projects
• Ensure that efficiency is maximized while fabricating
• MIG/TIG Welding Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, and Aluminum
• Use hand and power tools to grind, and sand metal surfaces that have been welded to ensure safety and a seamless appearance.
• Use calipers, protractors and tape measures to inspect parts and record findings on inspection report
• Ensure safety is a priority on the job during all activities, including proper tool usage and fabrication.

Requirements

• This position is for 1st Shift, and will be scheduled for 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.

• Strong welding skills in MIG/TIG Welding of Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, and Aluminum

• 5 years of experience in fabrication

• Detail oriented with the ability to work independently

• A Team Player is a MUST. Needs to work well with the other welders. Many of our projects are large scale and takes a team working together to get them done.

• Reliable and efficient with good communication skills. This position will interact regularly with internal staff, team members, and office staff.

• Ability to use hand and power tools

• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

• Ability to handle physical workload

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
