With an emphasis on early-phase trials, we partner with leading sponsors and CROs to bring cutting-edge cancer therapies closer to where patients live. Our decentralized model supports rapid startup, high-quality data, and equitable access to novel treatments—improving outcomes through research that meets patients where they are.

    Position Summary
    P1 Trials is seeking accomplished professionals to serve on its Board of Directors. As a Board Member, you will provide strategic guidance, governance oversight, and industry insight to support the continued growth and mission of P1 Trials. This is a paid position ideal for individuals with expertise in clinical research, biotechnology, healthcare investment, operations, or entrepreneurship.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Participate in quarterly board meetings (virtual and/or in-person)

    • Provide strategic input on business development, operational scale-up, and financial growth

    • Review and advise on key corporate initiatives, partnerships, and policies

    • Help evaluate organizational performance and ensure fiduciary oversight

    • Serve as a thought partner to the CEO and executive leadership

    • Leverage personal networks to support business development and visibility

    • Act as a brand ambassador for P1 Trials within the research and investor communities

    Qualifications

    • Prior board experience or executive-level leadership in healthcare, clinical trials, life sciences, or investment

    • Proven track record of strategic leadership and/or company scaling

    • Familiarity with early-phase drug development, site networks, or CRO/sponsor models preferred

    • Strong communication and decision-making skills

    • Ability to commit 10–20 hours per quarter

    • Passion for innovation and improving patient access to oncology research

    Compensation

    • Annual retainer plus additional stipends for committee participation, as applicable

    • Reimbursement of travel and meeting-related expenses
