A growing marine business along the Jersey Shore is seeking an entrepreneurial, forward-thinking Boat Sales Associate to help expand its sales presence and customer reach. This role is ideal for someone who thinks like an owner, embraces modern sales tools, and enjoys turning conversations into long-term customer relationships—on and off the water.
Key Responsibilities
Engage prospective buyers and guide them through a consultative boat-buying experience
Proactively develop new business through follow-up, referrals, and creative outreach
Leverage CRM platforms and AI-assisted sales tools to manage leads, track activity, and improve close rates
Maintain working knowledge of boat models, features, and customization options
Conduct dockside and showroom walk-throughs and demonstrations
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff from sale to delivery
Take ownership of personal sales performance and contribute ideas to improve overall business growth
Ideal Candidate Profile
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of accountability
Comfortable using CRM systems, digital communication tools, and emerging AI sales technologies
Sales experience preferred, but not required for the right self-starter
Interest in boating, marine recreation, or waterfront lifestyle
Organized, adaptable, and motivated by performance-based results
Willing to work weekends and seasonal hours common to the marine industry
