ABOUT THE ROLE In this role, you will be responsible for creating complete and accurate loan documentation to ensure a legally enforceable contractual agreement between the borrower and the bank while satisfying all internal and external regulatory requirements. WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Prepares required loan documentation for all personal property consumer transactions ensuring a legally enforceable agreement between borrower and the bank.
    • Reviews loan documentation for state specific requirements, file contents for all applicable supporting documentation, and verification of the rate as documented in the application processing system.
    • Reviews loan file to ensure accuracy and completeness. This includes to checking for spelling errors, correct rates, and the inclusion of all required supporting documentation. Reviews title work for accuracy and state specific requirements.
    • Works with collateral, sales and underwriting staff members to resolve any questions or issues associated with the file.
    • Receives questions and assists personnel and sales representatives regarding loan documentation (i.e. verbiage, titling, disbursements, etc) Interfaces with sales representatives, outside lending partners, DMV offices and/or title/doc service companies.

    WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

    • Understanding and knowledge of lending documentation, internal loan processes and governmental regulations and requirements, usually obtained after 2 years of prior work experience
    • Knowledge of consumer loan products and related processing and underwriting procedures and requirements and of consumer loan compliance regulations.
