    AUTOMOTIVE SALES CONSULTANT

    • Experience:

         automotive, 1 year (Preferred)

     

    • Education:

         High school or equivalent (Preferred)

    Responsibilities for Sales Consultant

    • Attend work on time
    • Utilize online industry software to reach out to new and former customers via phone; schedule appointments etc.
    • Work sales floor and lot, answer questions and engage customers
    • Escort customers on a tour of all new vehicles and the dealership
    • Offer and participate in test drives to those who qualify
    • Identify customers needs through open conversation
    • Participate in team meetings, set and meet monthly goals
    • Coordinate with the Sales Manager during the transaction process

    Qualifications for Sales Consultant

    • Strong interpersonal capabilities, critical thinking, emotional intelligence

    • Previous automotive experience a plus, but not required

    • Enthusiasm about cars and the surrounding culture

    • 2+ years of experience in a sales field or customer service position

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • A drive to excel under pressure, to stay confident, and motivated

    • Ability to work holidays and weekends

    • A valid driver's license

    • Successful passing of a background check
