TEA PEOPLE: TEA GEEK (Part Time)

The Tea Geek is the personal connection between Boba Guys' loose leaf tea brand, Tea People, and our guests. They share tea knowledge with guests in an accessible and engaging way. They leverage unique brewing tools, a collection of teas sourced by Tea People, and personal service at the Tea Bar to create a memorable and meaningful experience for every guest.
Serve
● Prepare and attend to Tea Flights, Tea by the Pot, and Tea Mocktails.
● Prepare and serve samples to guests sitting at the Tea Bar & dining area.
● Answer all questions regarding Tea People tea collection and general tea knowledge.
● Assist staff in building their expertise in teas, and Tea People merchandise so that they may accurately answer customer questions and make personal recommendations.
● Ensure customer concerns are addressed within a timely manner.
Duties
● Maintain an organized and sleek environment at the Tea Bar.
● Clean glass beakers and brewing tools.
● Organize teas and tea brewing tools.
● Wipe down surfaces all over the store.
● Support other staff in store.
● Refill premium teas Takeyas.
● Brew premium and standard teas for the whole store.
● Fill in for cashier, dishwasher, or Bobarista roles.
Qualifications
● Attended core Boba Guys Bobarista training.
● Must complete Certified Bobarista level.
● Attended all Tea Geek training sessions.
● Continuous demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to effectively problem solve, using sound judgment.
● Performance that consistently demonstrates Boba Guys' Vision, Mission, and Values.
