    Job Description

As a Body Damage Estimator, you will assess vehicle damage, prepare accurate repair estimates, and collaborate with vendors and insurance providers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality repairs.     WHAT TO EXPECT:

    • You assess vehicle damage by examining structural, body, mechanical, and interior components to ensure accurate evaluations for repair planning
    • You prepare and manage repair estimates, including labor, parts, and supporting documentation for insurance claims and internal approvals
    • You coordinate with customers, vendors, and insurance adjusters to communicate damage assessments, negotiate repairs, and resolve estimate discrepancies
    • You oversee repair schedules and ensure quality control, collaborating with internal teams and vendors to meet deadlines and maintain compliance with standards
    • You maintain detailed records and support cost efficiency, handling documentation, reporting, and vendor pricing to identify areas for process improvement

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED: ****

    • Experience and Education You have at least 2 years of experience in vehicle damage estimating or collision repair. Knowledge of CCC One or similar software is strongly preferred. I-CAR or ASE certification is a plus
    • Technical and Organizational Skills You are proficient in estimating systems and have a solid understanding of automotive repair processes, OEM standards, and insurance claim procedures. You can manage multiple estimates under tight deadlines with high attention to detail
    • Communication and Customer Service You possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information to customers, team members, and insurance companies
    • Technology and Time Management You are proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software, and you excel at managing tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
    • Work Authorization and Age Requirement You are at least 21 years old, authorized to work in the United States, and able to work 40 hours per week
