    Body One is home to the only Physical Therapy Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist Residency program in the State of Indiana, working in conjunction with UIndy to provide newly graduated physical therapists with hands-on experience, continuing education, and exposure to experts in specific treatment modalities.     What We’re Looking For:

    We have an immediate opportunity for a Licensed Physical Therapist specializing in Pelvic Health to join our strong team at the Body One Fishers clinic. We are seeking a caring, compassionate provider who will embrace our patient-first culture, work to develop their own niche practice, and deliver the care we’re known for in an outpatient private practice setting.

    Requirements:

    • Doctor of Physical Therapy (or commensurate) and at least 3 years of post-doctorate clinical experience
    • Minimum of Pelvic Health 1 certified, higher preferred
    • Current, unrestricted Indiana State licensure

    Physical Therapist Job Duties:

    • Our physical therapists work to develop and deliver high quality, individualized, outpatient physical therapy programs that are designed to reduce pain and discomfort and assist patients with recovery from injury and/or return to activities. This is done through
      • Review of physician referrals and notes regarding patient’s condition.
      • Performing initial evaluation for treatment, making associated recommendations based on exam findings, including potential referral for further specialty diagnosis.
      • Designing and executing on customized plans of care to achieve optimal outcomes based on the patient’s medical needs, goals, and ability to restore function.
      • Supporting treatment with timely documentation utilizing company-specific EMR software.
      • Providing patients with necessary education and information on conditions, expectations, limitations, etc. also including home exercise program.
      • Coordinating with other providers (PT and PTA) to deliver appropriate care.
      • Establishing discharge guidelines including follow up recommendations.
    • Our physical therapists have the unique opportunity to share their passion for high quality care through active participation as a peer, mentor, and instructor in specific areas of expertise within the Body One Residency Program.
    • Within our private practice setting, each of our therapists are encouraged to partner with our Marketing Director to develop and advance their own niche practice, forge strong relationships with referral sources and contribute clinical expertise to our overall marketing plan. Our Fishers practice has an existing referral base for pelvic health – an area of practice that we would like to continue to grow and expand.
