Jim Riehl's Friendly Ford of Charlevoix is looking to hire a full time body shop apprentice. In this position, you will enter our body shop Technician Training Program and work in a certified Ford Dealership body shop. In this position you will have the opportunity to learn body shop repair and become a full licensed technician. Jim Riehl’s will be supporting you in the training and providing Senior Technicians to work with.

In this position, you will get paid 40 hours per week.

Starting Job Responsibilities:

Moving customer vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility

Wash, wax, and buff the vehicle

Clean interior and exterior windows

Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle

Utilize special clean cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles

Clean and prep vehicles for paint

Sand and rub

Remove and install vehicle parts

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Understanding and compliance with safety rules, practices, as well as posted work rules and procedures

Positive outlook with a high energy personality

Ability to exercise good judgement and critical thinking

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Have a basic understanding of vehicles
